Watan-Revelations continue to emerge regarding the extent of the Israeli occupation authorities’ anticipation of the Al-Aqsa Operation carried out by Palestinian resistance on October 7th of last year.
Channel “Kan”, affiliated with the Israeli broadcasting authority, revealed a warning message that a senior official in Israeli military intelligence intended to send to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, cautioning about the possibility of a broad attack by Hamas, but the movement preceded and executed its attack.
The channel stated that the message was written by the head of research at the Intelligence Division (Aman) Colonel Amiet Saar, on the eve of Hamas’ attack.
The message warned that Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah were seeking an opportunity to attack Israel, based on intelligence information accumulated by the Military Intelligence Division.
The head of research at “Aman” in his message explained that senior officials in the Iranian axis were pressing and believed that the time had come to attack Israel and inflict lethal damage upon it.
The message was supposed to be sent immediately after the “Simchat Torah” holiday (October 7th and 8th, 2023) to Netanyahu and members of the security cabinet (the cabinet), but Hamas preceded and executed its attack,” according to the same source.
These warnings were sent to the head of the “Aman” Division, Aharon Haliva, and the Chief of Staff Herzl Halivi, who were directed by “Saar” to send them to Netanyahu.

Four warning messages
The channel explained that during the past year, 4 warning messages were sent from the “Aman” Division, the last of which was in July, but they were ignored and dealt with suspiciously by the political level.
Preparations for investigating the October 7th attack
The Hebrew newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” revealed that officers of various ranks in the Israeli army are receiving advice from military defense lawyers in preparation for investigations into the failures of October 7th.
The newspaper said that these investigations, expected to be completed by next May, will serve as a prelude on which the official investigation committee into the war will be based, which is expected to be formed later this year.
So far, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has distanced himself from acknowledging responsibility for the events of October 7th.
This is contrary to senior military leaders and political officials in Israel, as Netanyahu has rejected forming official investigation committees into the events until the end of the war.
