Palestinian Stabbing Attack in Beit Kama: Identity Revealed and Familial Connections Unveiled

Watan-A stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian youth revealed to be Fadi Abu Latif occurred at the entrance of the Beit Kama settlement in the occupied Negev region in southern Palestine, resulting in three injuries among settlers, one of them serious, according to Israeli Channel 13.

The Israeli occupation police stated that they neutralized the perpetrator of the stabbing attack after firing at him inside a café. Hebrew media outlets reported that a young man wielding a knife attacked individuals at a gas station and stabbed an Israeli soldier in the back and neck.

Relative of the Occupation Soldier Ahmed Abu Latif Killed by the Resistance

Palestinian accounts circulated information about the identity of the perpetrator of the stabbing attack at the Beit Kama junction, identifying the martyr as Fadi Abu Latif (22 years old), residing in Rahat in the occupied Negev since 2019, originally from the Gaza Strip.

Fadi Abu Latif, who carried out the stabbing attack in Beit Kama today and was martyred thereafter, is reportedly a relative of the Israeli soldier Ahmed Abu Latif, whom the resistance killed.

The First Scenes of the Beit Kama Operation

Ahmed Abu Latif was the soldier killed along with 21 Israeli soldiers in an ambush by the Al-Qassam Brigades in Khan Yunis in Gaza previously.

The initial scenes of the Beit Kama operation executed by the martyr Fadi Abu Latif, which resulted in 3 serious injuries among settlers, were captured on video.

Hamas calls for general mobilization

Concurrently with the operation, the Palestinian movement Hamas called on Palestinians in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied territories to mobilize and head to Al-Aqsa Mosque and stand steadfast there.

Hamas stated in a press release

“We call on our rebellious youth and the resistance factions in the West Bank and Jerusalem to rise up and confront the occupation soldiers.”

 

It added: “We call on our Arab and Islamic nation to make every day and gathering of this month an occasion for escalation in support of the steadfastness of our people in the Gaza Strip.”
