Watan-Social media users have resumed circulating an old video clip of the American Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, in which he accused former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton of founding the terrorist organization D’aach. The clip gained widespread circulation after the terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the devastating Moscow attack.
The old clip was recirculated in the context of Trump’s recent remarks opposing the American war in Iraq, which occurred during his 2016 election campaign and is not new as claimed by some platforms. However, Trump’s words at that time became a hot topic, especially in Russian circles.
During his election campaign in Florida on August 10, 2016, Trump reiterated his criticism, alleging that Obama created D’aach after expressing opposition to the war in Iraq, along with his then-partner Hillary Clinton.
In the context of criticizing the Iraq war, Trump described the war in Iraq as a “huge mistake,” affirming that it destabilized the region and “unleashed anger” in the Middle East.
The former US president mentioned that Obama, who took office instead of cleaning up the aftermath of his predecessor George Bush, caused even greater chaos.
He continued: “He created this chaos. Then there was Hillary Clinton’s role in Libya, which is extremely sad. In fact, in many ways, as you know, D’aach honors President Obama. He is the founder of ISIS. And I would like to say that the co-founder with him is the crooked Hillary Clinton.”
Ratings challenged @CNN reports so seriously that I call President Obama (and Clinton) “the founder” of ISIS, & MVP. THEY DON’T GET SARCASM?

Trump clarifies what he meant by Obama founding D’aach
At that time, the next day, Trump clarified in a radio interview that he meant it metaphorically.
He intended to blame the Democratic Party’s policies in the region for the escalating violence after the invasion of Iraq.
However, in reality, the war in Iraq began during the administration of Republican President George W. Bush, and two days after the speech, Trump mentioned in a tweet: “Low ratings caused CNN to conclude in its reports that I gave President Obama (and Clinton) the title of ‘founder’ of D’aach in all seriousness. Don’t they understand sarcasm?”
D’aach claims responsibility for the Moscow attack
The terrorist organization “D’aach – Wilayat Khorasan” recently claimed responsibility for the armed attack followed by a massive fire at a music concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow on Friday, which left at least 133 dead and dozens injured according to the latest toll from Russian authorities.
It is worth noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin recently pledged to punish those responsible for the Moscow attack, confirming that the attackers were arrested on their way to Ukraine, without mentioning D’aach’s declaration of responsibility for the attack.
