Watan-The body of a Palestinian girl was found completely decomposed in the northern Gaza Strip, five months after she was martyred under the rubble in her family’s home.

Activists on social media circulated a picture of the girl before her martyrdom, appearing innocently smiling, alongside an image of her body, which appeared to have burned fingers.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) stated that 13,000 children in Gaza have been killed by Israel since the beginning of the war, a figure the organization describes as “staggering.”

Officials from the Ministry of Health in Gaza say the total number of martyrs in the war is no less than 31,923 people. The World Health Organization considers these numbers “credible” and says the actual numbers could be even higher.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of civilian casualties, mostly children and women.

This has led to an unprecedented humanitarian disaster and massive infrastructure destruction.
