Queen Rania’s Heartfelt Encounter: Sharing Ramadan Joy with Bani Sakhr Tribe

Watan-Jordanian television broadcast scenes from Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s meeting, the consort of King Abdullah II, with women from the Bani Sakhr tribe in the Central Badia during the royal visit on the occasion of the silver jubilee.

The women expressed their happiness at meeting the queen by launching cheers and warmly shaking her hand.

Queen Rania joined several women from the Bani Sakhr tribe for the iftar banquet.

She engaged in a friendly dialogue with the women, with one of them saying, “When you are well, we are well.” The queen responded, “May God bless you, when you are well, we are fine.”

In a speech during the meeting, Queen Rania said that Ramadan is the month of family and giving, and it is the month of solidarity, goodness, and blessings.

She added, “You are our extended family, and Ramadan is the month of compassion. You are part of us and our family, and we love to see you.”

Royal Visit to the Central Badia

King Abdullah II, accompanied by Queen Rania Al Abdullah and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, visited the Central Badia and met with its dignitaries and representatives of its people.

During the meeting, held in the courtyard of Al Mashtu Palace in the Qashtal area in the presence of Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, the Jordanian monarch expressed his pride in being among the people of the Bani Sakhr tribe, the authentic and noble Arab tribe of Jordan, praising their dedication to serving the kingdom.

He affirmed that Jordan has overcome difficult circumstances and stages through the determination of its people, emphasizing the continuation of development, modernization, and progress.

He pointed out that Jordan is a homeland of dignity and pride, respected and appreciated by the world for its positions in defending the rights of its brethren and standing with them in their difficult circumstances.
