Watan-Turkish media reported the killing of 25 people and the injury of others, some critically, due to a massive fire that broke out inside a nightclub in the Istanbul province, northwest Turkey.
The Turkish media outlet mentioned that the fire broke out during construction work taking place in the lower floor of the building located in Gayrettepe in the Besiktas area.
According to Istanbul Governor, Daoud Ghoul, who spoke to journalists, firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene of the fire and managed to extinguish it, evacuate the victims, and transport the injured for treatment.
