Watan-The director-general of the “Jerusalem Center for Political Studies” and political analyst specializing in Middle Eastern affairs, Areeb al-Rantawi, confirmed that what he described as “Ibrahimi Arab capitals” – referring to the UAE and normalization countries – are now in great fear of a new wave of the Arab Spring, thus demonizing resistance and exonerating the occupation with political and media confusion.
Al-Rantawi said in a tweet on the platform X: “The fear of a second wave of Arab Spring and the return of political Islam to the forefront of protest movements are what push ‘Ibrahimi’ Arab capitals primarily to intensify the attack on Hamas and demonize the resistance.”
The Jordanian politician added that “after six months of mysterious silence, this axis explodes aggressively against the resistance, with its yellow media finding no qualms in attacking the resistance and Hamas with the utmost audacity, led by remnants of Fatah and symbols of a crumbling authority in Ramallah.”

Reasons for demonizing the resistance
Al-Rantawi explained attempts to demonize the resistance through the UAE and its clients: “Continuous hours of dedicated programs for these occasions of defamation, fabrication, and lies… They do not hesitate to blame the resistance for the catastrophe in Gaza and exonerate the new fascists in Tel Aviv.”
Regarding the attacks on protests in Jordan, he mentioned that there is “a choir moving under the command of one orchestra conductor… They fiercely defend Jordan’s security and stability, while the chaos-makers sent to Amman three years ago are still in prison,” referring to the Saudi Bassem Awadallah, one of the scandals involved in plotting to overthrow King Abdullah II.
Al-Rantawi concluded by saying that “the authority (the Palestinian Authority) is deeply involved in the dirty game up to its ears… No reconciliation, no watermelon. They have chosen their trenches, and they are leaping to engage in battle on the back of Israeli tanks.”

It is worth mentioning that the name Bassem Awadallah, the former Jordanian royal court chief currently imprisoned, who holds Saudi nationality and was close to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has been prominent in the X platform in recent days after Saudi and Emirati electronic flies interacted, calling for the suppression of Gaza supporters in the massive demonstrations in Jordan, leading some to question the story of his coup against the Jordanian king.
Awadallah, who holds Saudi nationality, is also a Palestinian Jordanian and was the CEO of “Ambition Company” in Dubai, and was close to Mohammed Dahlan, the Palestinian fugitive leader supported by the UAE.
It is worth noting that massive popular protests erupted from all segments of society in Jordan, demonstrating in the streets of the country to express their support for the besieged Palestinians in Gaza and reject the ongoing Israeli aggression.
