Iran Launches Drone Attack on Israel: Tensions Escalate in the Middle East

Watan-The website “Axios” revealed in an urgent news report that Iran is currently launching an attack on Israel with dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Simultaneously, videos circulated on social media platforms, documenting the passage of dozens of Iranian drones through Iraqi airspace on their way to Israel.

It is believed that the Iranian unmanned drones seen in the skies of Iraq are of the type “Shahed 131 or 136.”

The official Israeli broadcasting authority confirmed this attack and announced that Iran has begun an attack on Israel with dozens of unmanned suicide drones, expected to reach Israeli airspace within a few hours.

Accounts on the “X” platform reported that the attack originated from the city of Kermanshah in Iran, and that Israeli Air Force defense and attack systems are on alert.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stated Saturday morning that Israel is “closely monitoring a possible attack” by Iran and its allies in the region.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera quoted a U.S. official stating that Israel has put all its forces on alert and taken numerous internal measures in anticipation of a possible Iranian strike.

The Israeli broadcasting authority announced that Galant is conducting a security assessment with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders of the security establishment within the occupation.

Over the past few hours, several countries and airlines have taken precautionary measures amid Israeli anticipation of an attack by Iran.

Jordan announced the temporary closure of its airspace to all incoming, outgoing, and transiting flights “in light of the escalating risks in the region.”

Videos showed Israeli authorities beginning to evacuate shopping malls in all Israeli cities, opening shelters, and closing all beaches.
