Watan-The information continues to emerge, revealing the superiority of Palestinian resistance fighters, particularly the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” over the Israeli army in ground battles.
Algerian commentator Hafid Derradji conveyed insights into the developments in the ongoing conflicts, stating in a tweet on the Ex platform: “Concurring media reports suggest that the Israeli army is now at the mercy of the elite forces of the Al-Qassam Brigades.”
He added, “There are reports of the killing of 16 Israeli soldiers as a result of a missile attack on their tanks… The bodies of occupation soldiers in the Victory neighborhood are scattered on the ground alongside their destroyed vehicles.”
Furthermore, he continued, “Another Israeli source also speaks of the death of the Israeli armored corps commander, Colonel Shldag Ziyur, and his enlisted secretary, Annie Awidan… Shldag is considered the highest-ranking casualty in the Israeli army so far.”

The death of the armored corps commander in the occupying army
Colonel Shldag Ziyur, the commander of the armored corps, was killed in battles in the western Gaza Strip, marking the highest-ranking casualty in the Israeli army thus far.
The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army announced on Friday evening the death of a senior officer in the army, along with his secretary, and the injury of five others, including two officers who sustained serious wounds, during the recent clashes in Gaza over the past twenty-four hours.
The Hebrew Channel 14 reported, citing the army spokesperson, “The commander of the armored corps, Colonel Shldag Ziyur, and his enlisted secretary, Annie Awidan, were killed in the western Gaza axis.”
Hamas confirms the inaccuracy of the occupation’s statements regarding its casualties
The occupation army announced the recording of approximately 40 casualties, including officers and soldiers, during the ground battles.
However, Hamas affirmed that the losses of the occupation army in the Gaza Strip are much greater than what is officially declared. They pointed out that Tel Aviv expanded the scope of its targeting to most hospitals in the city of Gaza.
