Unveiling Houthi Allegations: UAE Accused of Direct Involvement in Gaza Strikes
Watan-The political bureau member of the Houthi Ansar Allah group, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, claimed that the group has confirmed information that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) participated in the strikes on Gaza, without providing evidence or details to support his allegations.
In an interview with the Lebanese channel “Al-Mayadeen,” affiliated with Hezbollah, Al-Bukhaiti stated, “The Emiratis directly participated in the bombing of our Palestinian brothers in Gaza.”
Houthi Claims of UAE Participation in Gaza Strikes
When the interviewer sought clarification on whether he was referring to the Americans or other Arab parties involved in the Gaza bombing, the Houthi official responded that he meant the Emiratis, claiming there is confirmed information regarding their involvement.
Without providing any specifics, Al-Bukhaiti continued to speak about the Saudi and Emirati regimes, saying, “Because they have distanced themselves from their people, they consider the victory of Palestinian resistance in Gaza a defeat for them and a threat to their thrones.”
Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti pointed out that this reality can be observed through Saudi Twitter users or Facebook users who, according to him, seek to hold Palestinian resistance responsible for what happened.
Open Support for Israel
According to the opposition website “Emirates Leaks,” the United Arab Emirates (UAE) openly supported Israel in its war on the Gaza Strip, particularly through diplomatic and media channels. The UAE went so far as to issue an unprecedented statement explicitly condemning Palestinian resistance.
Internally, the UAE, known for its normalized relations, has not witnessed any popular movement opposing Israel or advocating for Palestine due to the government’s security-driven policies suppressing public opinion in the country.
Simultaneously, Dubai Airport in the UAE has reportedly become a gathering point for Israeli reserve soldiers, preparing for engagement in the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the perpetration of further atrocities against Palestinians for the second consecutive week.
Mohammed Abdul-Salam, the spokesperson for Houthi movement ‘Ansar Allah,’ condemned the UAE’s position, expressing its complete alignment with the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and their resistance.
Abdul-Salam stated in a tweet on his ‘Ex’ platform account last October: ‘The UAE should have remained silent and not revealed its ugly face, stabbing the Palestinian resistance in the back.'”
