Watan-Palestinian activists circulated on social media platforms a video clip of the will of the former star of the Palestinian national team and former player of Al-Wahdat Club in Jordan, Mohammed Barakat, hours before he became a martyr along with others in an Israeli occupation bombing in the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
The player Mohammed Barakat, may Allah preserve his soul, spoke in the last video clip before his martyrdom in an Israeli occupation bombing in the city of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, last week.
The will of the player Mohammed Barakat, star of the Palestinian national team, stated: “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. I greet you, my beloved family, friends, and nation. Perhaps these are the last words and the last scene you see from us because we are in a difficult situation… but nothing happens in the dominion of Allah except what Allah wills, and not a leaf falls except by the permission of Allah.”
He continued, “Say, ‘Do you await for us except one of the two best things while we await for you that Allah will afflict us with punishment from Himself…’ Whatever misfortune strikes you is for what your hands have earned, but He pardons much.”
Mohammed Barakat’s Last Testament
The martyr Barakat concluded his final words, saying: “Perhaps life has ended, or perhaps there is still life ahead, and only the Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth determines this… The term is written, and only the Owner of the heavens and the earth determines when we will die.”
He ended, “So I ask for your forgiveness and your prayers… My mother, my father, by Allah, you are dear to me and precious to me… I entrust you to Allah, whose trust is never lost… I conclude here… your prayers.”
According to the International Palestinian Football Association, hundreds of Palestinian players in various fields have been martyred in the ongoing genocide war on Gaza for the sixth consecutive month, the latest of whom was the martyr Mohammed Barakat, former star of the Palestinian men’s football team.
