Israel Awaits Confirmation as Hamas Announces Names of Hostages to Be Freed in Latest Exchange.

Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the names of three prisoners who will be released tomorrow, Saturday, as part of the latest batch under the ceasefire agreement.

Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, stated that the prisoners are Ofer Calderon, Keith Shmounsel Segal, and Yarden Bibas.

Israel confirmed that it had received a list from Hamas containing the names of three individuals.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that it would not announce the names until the listed individuals were reviewed and their families were notified.

Under the ceasefire agreement, Hamas is required to inform Israel 24 hours in advance of the names of the prisoners it intends to release.

Israel is set to release dozens of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the hostages.

According to Israeli sources, 82 hostages are still being held in the Gaza Strip.
