Watan-A tragic video has circulated, showing the impact of the Israeli occupation army’s missiles on the children of the Gaza Strip during the brutal war that has been ongoing since October 7th of last year.

The video depicted a Palestinian child with his face marked by burn injuries from a severe Israeli airstrike, while others were seen trembling due to their tragic injuries.

Nearly ten thousand children have been martyred due to the brutal war waged by the Israeli occupation army on the Gaza Strip since October 7th of last year.

In addition to the devastating toll on the children of Gaza, who are a primary target in the Israeli occupation army’s list of objectives, they are also living in catastrophic conditions as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on the enclave.*

Children in Gaza do not have access to 90% of their water needs

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) warned a few days ago that Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip do not have access to 90 percent of their natural water consumption.

UNICEF stated in a press release that water and sanitation services in Gaza are on the verge of collapse, while the widespread outbreak of diseases is looming on the horizon.

According to UNICEF estimates, recently displaced children in the southern Gaza Strip receive only 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day, significantly less than the recommended requirements for survival.

According to humanitarian relief standards, the minimum quantity of water needed in emergency situations is 15 liters, including drinking, washing, and cooking, and the estimated minimum for survival is only 3 liters per day.

The organization pointed out that hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, half of whom are children, have arrived in the city of Rafah (south) since early December, and they are in desperate need of food, water, shelter, medicine, and protection.
